The Commune is a radical Pan-African, socialist and feminist bookstore and coffee shop. We also sell records with a focus on African music.
We host regular book launches, talks, discussions and film screenings, as well as DJ sets, poetry and music performances. We work closely with grassroots groups, popular movements, trade unions and radical intellectuals.
