Nombuso Mathibela (@nombusomathibela) is a Johannesburg based cultural worker, educator, writer, vinyl collector and selector. Her impulses span across folk, anti colonial, nationalist, feminist music histories and political aesthetics. She is part of the African ecofeminist collective that works on anticapitalist political art education and ecological justice histories. Her collection moves against borders, across seas, only for dancers, sometimes a bit obsessed with the seventies but always reflecting the soulful palettes of Black life everywhere.
